After downloading scratchbox and the maemo sdk, I tried compiling/building tn5250, and moved the deb to my tablet. After installing, it still gave the same error message. As I was installing my deb, I noticed that it mentioned needing ncurses, so I used 'apt-get install ncurses'. After doing so, tn5250 works like a charm! Anyway, just wanted to pass that on if anyone is interested. Just wanted to update you to my progress. I added the package just as you state above, but when I run 'tn5250 IPADDY', it fails with the error: "Error opening terminal: xterm.". Any thoughts?
